We are pleased to announce the following activities within the framework of the youth project “Ecological Life: Harmony through Nature”, which is being implemented within the framework of the UNICEF DIY Community mini-grant competition!
This Friday and Saturday, June 6-7, young people from Volnovakha, Vuhledar, Velykonovosilky, Olhyne and Komar communities invite Dnipro residents to join two bright and important events - a flash mob and an eco-clean-up “Let's Make the City Cleaner”.
June 6: Flash mob in the park area.
The goal is to draw attention to the problem of environmental pollution and encourage Dnipro residents to join the eco-toloka.
The young people who participate in the project will come out with eco-messages, motivational leaflets, and bright slogans to show that environmental culture begins with each of us!
The flash mob is a step towards change and an invitation to action.
June 7: “Let's make the city cleaner” eco-talk.
A public appeal is followed by a joint action. Young people, together with concerned residents, will clean one of the city's park areas, uniting in a practical example of love for nature. The event will end with a friendly picnic without garbage.
These events are a part of the youth eco-project “Ecological lifestyle: harmony through nature”, which is being implemented as part of the DIY Community mini-grant competition, implemented by UNICEF.
IDP youth have already proved that they are not just adapting - they are changing communities. They are the engine of change that starts with simple actions, conscious habits and team energy.
