Summer vacations have begun in Kirovohrad region, and on this occasion, the Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History of Students initiated tourism and sports activities for students of Kropyvnytskyi and the region, including IDP children from Donetsk region. All activities were held under the slogan "Tourism Walks Ukraine" as a symbol of movement, strength, unity and new opportunities even in difficult times.
The events took place in the village of Smolino (Novoukrainsky district). Children and teenagers were invited to try their hand at micro-orientation and archery. More than 350 participants were happy to join the adventure.
For many of them it was the first experience of orienteering - the passage of the "mazes" was a delight for both children and parents, who eagerly joined in. And archery gave the children a sense of strength, focus and excitement - some of them returned to the bow again and again, trying to improve their results.
Such events are not just about sports and entertainment. This is an opportunity for children - including those who were forced to leave their homes because of the war - to feel strong, brave, and united. This is a step towards physical development, psychological adaptation and building the resilience that every young Ukrainian needs today.
Tourism is marching across Ukraine - and children are marching with it, learning to be resilient, friendly and free!
