Participant of the regional competition “Young Person of the Year - 2025” in the nomination “Youth Worker of the Year” Anna AKIMOVA

Hanna Akimova is proactive, creative and tirelessly dedicated to the education of children and youth. At just 25 years of age, this young teacher at the Raduga kindergarten #52 has already made a significant contribution to preschool education and the social life of the community. Her story is an example of how dedication, love for children and patriotism can be combined to create positive changes in society. Since 2019, Hanna has been working as a teacher at the Rainbow Kindergarten, where she has gained authority among colleagues and parents over six years of teaching. Her initiative and responsibility are evident in everything from creating innovative developments to actively participating in social initiatives. Hanna doesn't just do her job - she lives it, constantly looking for new ways to engage children and make their learning fun. Her creative approach to education has resulted in the creation of the practical manual “Ukrainian Folk Games for Preschoolers”, which includes both active and sedentary games aimed at developing attention, speed, endurance and strength. This development has become a real godsend for teachers, as it helps to educate children through play, which is the basis of preschool education.

A special place in Hanna's activities is occupied by patriotic education. She is convinced that love for Ukraine should be instilled from an early age through interesting and accessible forms for children. Hanna creates interactive presentations and video tours of Ukraine's sights to introduce preschoolers to the culture, history, and beauty of their native country. As part of the project “Patriotic Education in the Context of Developing the Spiritual Potential of a Preschool Child's Personality,” she and her colleagues developed an interactive presentation “Horizons of Knowledge of a Little Ukrainian,” which was recognized on the Web showcase of the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education in 2023. Her interactive classes, such as “The Land of Mathematical Wonders” or the presentation “Visiting Forest Animals,” not only teach children the basics of knowledge, but also foster a sense of pride in their country.

Hanna actively participates in professional competitions, where her works have been repeatedly recognized with awards. In 2021, she received a first-degree Diploma in the city photo contest “New Ukrainian Kindergarten - a bridge for joy and happiness”, and in 2023 she received a third-degree Diploma for the Preschool Day collage contest in the nomination “The Art of Being a Happy Parent”. In 2024, her innovative development “Advent Calendar as an Innovative Game Form of Education” earned her a certificate from the Donetsk IPPE, and in 2025, Hanna took third place in the International Teacher's Methodological Box Competition for her interactive presentation. Her speeches on the platform of the Donetsk IPPE, in particular on the use of the Perplexity AI tool in education, demonstrate her desire to keep up with the times and share her experience with colleagues.

Hanna is not only a talented educator, but also an active citizen with a clear civic position. Her desire to support the community and help Ukraine's defenders has manifested itself in a number of initiatives. In May 2025, she became a blood donor for the military treated in Kyiv hospitals and joined the regional campaign “Give a book to a defender”. In 2024-2025, Hanna worked at the Bakhmut Hub in Kyiv, where she conducted workshops, including the History of Ukrainian Embroidery, on making applications, and the quiz My Favorite Ukrainian Fairy Tales. These events not only popularized Ukrainian culture but also created an atmosphere of unity and support in difficult times.

Her cooperation with Mariupol State University, where she participated in organizational and methodological workshops for master's students, brought her gratitude in 2024 and 2025.

Hanna Akimova is a young person who shows by her example how to combine professional skills, creativity and active citizenship. She does not just educate young Ukrainians, she inspires everyone around her to be better, more active and responsible.
