Participant in the regional competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” in the “Leaders of Knowledge” category Alina Dzhenchako
Alina Dzhenchako teaches Ukrainian language and literature at a general secondary school in the village of Kremenivka, Kalchitska Community, Donetsk Oblast. Her teaching career began at Mariupol State University, and starting in 2015, she worked as a history teacher in Mariupol.
After moving to Dnipro due to the full-scale invasion, Alina decided to change her specialization and, in 2025, earned a second bachelor’s degree in Ukrainian language and literature. In her work, she combines historical context with language study and uses digital tools and interactive teaching methods.
During her first year in her new position, Alina achieved significant results together with her students. She served as the mentor for 11th-grader Polina Dagli, who won a First-Degree Diploma in the All-Ukrainian Local History Competition and became a finalist in the regional essay contest “In Search of True Stories – 2026.”
