Participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” competition in the “Power of Management Decisions” category: Alina Moiseenko
Alina Moiseenko is a civil servant from Avdiivka who has dedicated more than ten years to serving the state and protecting citizens’ rights. She began her career in the State Enforcement Service, where she rose from specialist to senior enforcement officer, and later worked as a judge’s assistant and assistant to the chief judge of the Avdiivka City Court.
The war radically changed her life. Despite the constant shelling of Avdiivka, she continued to perform her official duties, and even after being forced to evacuate, she did not stop working for the good of the state. The loss of her hometown became the impetus for a new phase in her professional career, focused on supporting those who defend Ukraine.
In 2024, Alina joined the Department of Veterans’ Policy at the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Thanks to her professionalism, sense of responsibility, and strong leadership skills, she was appointed deputy head of the department—head of the division for social protection of veterans and social support for family members of the fallen.
Today, her work is focused on ensuring social protection for war veterans, the Defenders of Ukraine, and their families. For Alina Moiseenko, every management decision is, first and foremost, about caring for the people who defend Ukraine’s independence at the cost of their own lives and health. Her professional career is an example of responsible leadership, resilience, and dedicated service to the state.
