Alisa Abramova, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year - 2026” competition in the “Shield of Law and Order” category
At 24 years old, Alisa Abramova—an investigator from Sloviansk—combines exceptional professionalism with deep humanity. Dreaming of a career in law, in March 2022 she consciously chose to serve in the police force of her hometown. Today, she is a combat veteran and holds two master’s degrees (in law and psychology). This enables her not only to effectively investigate crimes but also to support those who have survived the horrors of war.
Under constant shelling, wearing a bulletproof vest and helmet, Alisa documents the occupiers’ war crimes. During the airstrike on Sloviansk on March 10, 2026, and the FPV drone attack on Mykolaivka, she not only documented the destruction but also cleared debris and provided first aid.
Even in the most difficult moments, she remains kind: when traveling to frontline areas, she always brings food for abandoned animals. For her courage and exemplary service, the police officer has been honored with commendations from the Head of the National Police, the head of the Donetsk Regional Police Department, and the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
She is a model of the modern Ukrainian officer: brave, devoted to her oath, and inspiring faith in victory, while keeping the light and belief in miracles alive in her heart.
