Participant in the regional contest “Young Person of the Year 2026” “Impulse of Youth Initiatives” category Anna Serikova
Anna Serikova is a 10th-grade student who is actively involved in the development of the youth movement in the Donetsk region. She serves as secretary of the Youth Council at the Novogrodivka City Council and is also a member of the Youth Council at the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
At the local level, Anna contributes to shaping the community’s youth policy, organizing local events, and representing the interests of her peers. As part of the regional youth council’s activities, she helps organize forums, educational projects, and training sessions for young people in the region.
Among Anna’s practical initiatives is her participation in creating and running the interactive quest game “Journey Through Ukraine,” designed to help students learn about history and culture and strengthen their national identity. She is also an active member of the “VilnoUA” language club, where she helps her peers improve their spoken Ukrainian.
In addition, Anna regularly organizes team-building activities and training sessions aimed at developing leadership skills, critical thinking, and communication among young people.
