Participant in the regional competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” “Knowledge Leaders” category: Anna Sipeeva
Anna Sipeeva, a physics teacher at Kurakhiv Secondary School No. 5, began her teaching career in the Donetsk region, in the village of Kurakhivka. Her career choice was a conscious one: she carried on the family tradition of teaching, following in the footsteps of her mother, a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature.
After earning her degree from the Physics and Mathematics Department at Berdiansk State Pedagogical University, she began exploring multimedia technologies while still a student and participated in scientific conferences organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine. Upon returning to her home community, she focused on teaching physics using interactive methods and virtual laboratories, as well as on continuously improving her professional skills.
During her career, she has prepared a number of prize winners and champions in student competitions. In particular, her students have won first place and other top prizes in the “Donbas Nature Reserve” environmental and local history movement, the All-Ukrainian competition “Earth—Our Common Home,” the presentation competition “Achievements and Innovations in Ukrainian Science,” and the All-Ukrainian competition of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine “Junior Researcher.”
In addition to her teaching and research work with students, she contributed to the development of nationwide teaching materials—creating multimedia presentations for an 8th-grade geometry textbook published by “Osvita.” For her successful professional start in the 2025–2026 school year, she received an award from the school administration.
