Participant in the regional competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” “Knowledge Leaders” category: Dmytro Kartamyshev
Dmytro Kartamyshev was born in Kramatorsk. In 2015, he graduated with honors from the Donbas State Machine-Building Academy (DSMBA) with a degree in “Automated Control of Technological Processes” and was named a laureate of the regional “Young Person of the Year” competition as a young scientist.
In May 2021, Dmytro defended his Ph.D. dissertation in the field of metal forming, combining classical engineering principles with automation. Since 2018, he has been working at the Department of Production Process Automation at the DMA. He teaches specialized courses: software engineering, object-oriented programming, programming technology for complex systems, and database organization. Amid the war and remote learning, he adapted the class schedule to meet students’ needs, holding office hours in the evenings and on weekends.
Between 2021 and 2026, he published 7 articles in professional journals and presented 11 abstracts at international and national conferences. Dmytro is a member of the “Center for Automation and Computer-Integrated Control” association
