Eleonora Kozlova, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” competition in the “Knowledge Leaders” category
Eleonora Kozlova is a teacher of French and English who considers education her true calling. Her professional journey began in her hometown of Kostiantynivka while she was still studying at university. Her own experience of overcoming difficulties while learning English shaped her key educational principle: no child should have to face fear and self-doubt alone.
Despite the war and the loss of her home, Eleonora continued working for the sake of children. She joined programmes focused on overcoming learning losses and providing psychosocial support to schoolchildren. In 2025, she became a tutor in the DOSTUP II programme implemented by the Czech humanitarian organization People in Need. Today, she continues her work as a tutor in the “Educational Support” programme, implemented by Teach For Ukraine with the support of UNICEF and the governments of Spain, Norway and Japan.
Her mission is not simply to teach foreign languages, but to help children overcome their fears, discover their abilities and dare to dream. Eleonora’s greatest professional dream is to create Children Dream, an educational art space where every child can learn, create, communicate and, most importantly, believe in themselves.
