Representatives of the Vuhledar City Military Administration paid a working visit to the city of Ladyzhyn as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”

This meeting marked another important step toward fostering cooperation, providing support, and exchanging experiences during these challenging times. As part of this collaboration, plans were outlined for future joint projects in the social and cultural spheres.

The main priority of the working visit was to engage the Ladyzhyn Community Resilience Center in active cooperation and to expand the partnership. They discussed in detail practical steps for providing high-quality psychosocial assistance, coordinating humanitarian initiatives, and offering comprehensive support to displaced persons.

During the meeting, they personally familiarized themselves with the Center’s work, its welcoming environment, and its wide range of services. The main goal is to join forces so that residents of the Vuhledar City Territorial Community who have been forced to leave their homes feel supported and cared for, with the opportunity to receive high-quality services free of charge:

  • Psychological assistance and individual counseling;
  • Participation in mutual support groups;
  • Events, workshops, and meaningful leisure activities for children and adults;
  • A safe space for socializing and recharging.

Following the visit, plans for future cooperation were agreed upon. Currently, colleagues from the Ladyzhyn community are holding the necessary consultations with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.

As a sign of strong friendship, respect, and deep gratitude for the hospitality, symbolic gifts were presented to the host side, embodying the resilience and spirit of the Vuhledar community.
