Participant in the regional competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” in the “Pulse of Life” category: Yulia Radchenko
Yulia Radchenko chose a career in medicine when she was still a child. Her first professional step was studying at the Kostiantynivka Medical College, where she earned her nursing degree. Her desire to continue her professional development led her to Donetsk National Medical University. After graduating, Yulia completed her residency in “General Practice—Family Medicine” and later specialized in gastroenterology.
Today, she works as a family physician and serves as the deputy medical director for the assessment of temporary disability and preferential healthcare services for the public. The combination of clinical practice and administrative duties allows her not only to treat patients but also to effectively organize medical care.
Due to the full-scale invasion, Yulia, along with the staff of the Primary Health Care Center, was forced to relocate from Pokrovsk to Dnipro. In her new location, she continues to see fellow residents from the Donetsk region, providing them with the necessary professional support.
In her work, Yulia Radchenko emphasizes evidence-based medicine and prevention. She actively promotes routine checkups, vaccinations, early diagnosis, and screening programs, helping patients take a systematic approach to their health.
