Lilia Molyarova, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” competition in the “Youth Initiatives” category
Lilia Molyarova is an educational coordinator at Kurakhiv Gymnasium No. 2, which is part of the Kurakhiv City Council in Donetsk Oblast. Despite the challenges of full-scale war, she fulfilled her long-held dream—in 2023, she enrolled in a higher education institution to study “Secondary Education (History of Ukraine)” and began her teaching career.
Working under conditions of remote learning and constant relocations, Lilia has become for her students not only an organizer of school life but also a mentor who supports, motivates, and helps young people realize their full potential. She organizes educational, creative, and patriotic events, coordinates students’ participation in competitions and projects, and pays special attention to the military-patriotic game “Sokil” (“Dzhura”), which fosters active citizenship and a love for Ukraine.
For her professional work, Lilia was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Kurakhiv City Council’s Department of Education (2024) and a Letter of Appreciation from the organizers of the regional educational project “Lessons in Resilience” (2026), as part of which she conducted a region-wide lesson on child safety during martial law.
Today, Lilia Molyarova continues to grow professionally, implement youth initiatives, and create opportunities for her students’ development. Her work exemplifies how belief in one’s own dreams, active citizenship, and dedication to one’s profession help nurture a generation that will shape Ukraine’s future.
