During a meeting with Oleksii Mihrin, Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) and Major General of the Civil Protection Service, Viacheslav Filiushyn, Head of the Donetsk–Luhansk Rapid Response Mobile Rescue Center of the SES and Colonel of the Civil Protection Service, and Yakov Nemykin, Head of the Main Directorate of the SES in the Donetsk Region, Vadym Filashkin discussed the security situation in the Donetsk region, evacuation efforts, response to the consequences of Russian shelling, and interagency coordination.
Vadym Filashkin also presented the "Defender of Donetsk Region" badge of honor, awarded by the Donetsk Regional State Administration, to Oleksii Mihrin and Viacheslav Filiushyn.
"These are more than just awards—they symbolize the unwavering courage, dedication to duty, and honor that the rescuers of the State Emergency Service demonstrate every day in the Donetsk region. They express our deep gratitude and sincere respect for their selfless service, for every life they save, for every person they evacuate from frontline communities, and for the support they provide during the most difficult moments.
Every day, under enemy fire, they stand on the front line of humanity—where courage, composure, and fearless hearts are essential. Their work is a true example of service to the people and genuine patriotism.
