The active youth of Donetsk region continues to temper character, acquire applied knowledge and prepare to defend the state. The "Ukrainian Titans" swarm of the state educational institution "Bakhmut Center for Vocational and Technical Education" joined the large-scale All-Ukrainian Military-Patriotic School "Guardian-2026", which united active youth from all corners of the country around the values of patriotism, responsibility and readiness to act for the good of Ukraine.
For six days, the participants underwent an intensive program full of physical challenges, theoretical classes and practical training in conditions close to real ones. The training program was as rich as possible and covered key areas of military affairs: the youth fulfilled fire training standards, practiced tactical medicine, mine and explosive safety and military topography with orientation in the terrain. Of particular interest were practical training on modern dynamic BTR-4E simulators, masking positions and equipment, overcoming psychological obstacles, as well as training in capturing an enemy object and a tactical paintball game.
In addition, the future defenders performed practical shooting with AK-74 assault rifles and UAR-15 rifles. An important component of the event was meetings with current Heroes, viewing samples of military equipment, demonstration performances by dog handlers and a tour of the ancient castle.
For young people, this was not only an opportunity to gain important applied skills, but also an opportunity to more deeply understand the price of freedom, the power of unity and the importance of national memory. The symbolic closing of the training took place on the famous mountain of Markiyan Shashkevych - an outstanding figure and inspirer of national awakening, where everyone present keenly felt the living connection between generations of fighters for the freedom of Ukraine.
