Participant in the regional competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” “Leaders of Knowledge” category: Renat Yermolenko
Renat Yermolenko was born in the village of Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka Community, Donetsk Oblast. He began practicing sports at the age of ten, joining the judo club in Velyka Novosilka. Renat is currently a student at the Prydniprovsk State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports, majoring in “Coaching and Teaching.” He balances his studies with training and preparation for his future career as a coach.
He represents the TIGER 14-04 sports club and competes in mixed martial arts and combat sports. Thanks to his daily hard work and systematic training, Renat Yermolenko has earned two Candidate Master of Sports titles—in judo and Combat Ju-Jutsu. He plans to use the experience he has gained during competitions in the future to teach and mentor a new generation of Ukrainian athletes.
Despite the challenges posed by the war and the forced displacement of many residents of his home community, Renat continues to train, compete, and promote a healthy lifestyle among young people.
