Participant in the regional contest “Young Person of the Year – 2026” “Creators of Change and Opportunities” category: Vladislav Vorobyov
Vladislav Vorobyov, a native of Bakhmut, has turned his love of music into his life’s work. Today, he teaches a percussion class at the Ivan Karabits Bakhmut Vocational College of Culture and Arts, which, following its relocation, continues its educational mission in Kamianets-Podilskyi.
Vladislav combines teaching, performing, and outreach activities. While teaching young people, he successfully implements innovative teaching methods, cultivates artistic taste, and instills a love for Ukrainian art. His students demonstrate a high level of skill, having won 28 prizes at international and national competitions in recent years. The teacher takes particular pride in the drum band “TakTon,” which he founded—a vibrant ensemble with a contemporary repertoire and original performances.
As a competition laureate and active performer, Vladislav performs both as a soloist and as part of the college’s orchestras and ensembles. Since 2023, he has participated in charity events in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in social projects at hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
