Participant of the Donetsk Regional Competition "Young Person of the Year – 2026" Nomination: "The Energy of Care and Support"
In the "The Energy of Care and Support" nomination of the regional competition "Young Person of the Year – 2026," the Donetsk region is represented by Vladyslava Khodarieva, Administrator of the "YaMariupol. Care" Support Center in Rivne, who is dedicated to helping internally displaced people rebuild their lives.
Vladyslava was born in Debaltseve. After the outbreak of hostilities in 2014, she and her family were forced to leave their home. She later continued her education in Mariupol, earning a degree in Philology from Mariupol State University. Following Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, her family was once again displaced, this time to Rivne.
In 2024, Vladyslava joined the YaMariupol support network and now works as the administrator of the "YaMariupol. Care" Center. She helps visitors solve everyday challenges while creating an atmosphere of warmth, compassion, and community support.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Vladyslava is actively involved in civic initiatives supporting prisoners of war and missing defenders of Ukraine, as well as commemorative events honoring fallen heroes. Her story reflects resilience, compassion, and a strong commitment to serving people and contributing to Ukraine's recovery and future.
