Published 17 March 2026 year, 15:25

The Donetsk Regional Museum of Local History is organizing a professional online meeting titled “Over Coffee at the Museum” on the topic “The Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Museum Work,” which will take place on April 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Employees of regional museum institutions, members of the public, and anyone interested in the integration of modern technologies into the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage are invited to participate.

During the webinar, participants will explore practical aspects of museum digitization, including current approaches to applying AI in museum work; practical case studies of using neural networks for communication and the visual design of exhibitions; and an overview of tools for creating and editing content (images and videos) using AI.

The keynote speaker will be Olga Vashchevska—a leading artist at the Ivan Honchar Museum National Center for Folk Culture and the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, and a graduate of the “Neural Networks for Designers” program (supported by House of Europe).

To participate, you must complete the mandatory registration at the following link: fill out the form https://forms.gle/DSXEGm2Mq2nnTGY89

Registration is open until 4:00 PM on April 7, 2026.

The link to join the event will be sent to the email addresses of registered participants. The organizers note: in the event of technical difficulties (particularly with power supply), all participants will receive a video recording of the meeting via email.

Leveraging the capabilities of artificial intelligence is a step toward a modern presentation of Ukrainian culture and enhancing the effectiveness of museum communication in the context of digitalization.
