Every week, the population of the region's communities receives charitable aid.
During the first week of winter, more than 169.3 tons of aid were distributed, including food packages, hygiene products, building materials, non-food items, medical supplies, drinking water, etc.
First and foremost, assistance was provided to pensioners, large families, families with young children, and other vulnerable groups.
The volunteer movement has become hugely important today. Caring Ukrainians and foreign partners are supporting the military and civilians. They are responding to every need. During the week, charitable assistance was provided to Donetsk Oblast by the following organizations: GLOBAL EMPOWERMENT MISSION UA (GEM) in partnership with the Howard G BUFFETT Foundation (HGBF), Angels of Salvation, Avalist, World Central Kitchen, the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine, Doctors Without Borders, Hatiko, and many others.
