As part of the cultural and artistic event ‘Marathon of Good Deeds’ organised by the Donetsk Regional State Administration, creative groups and soloists from the Ivan Karabits Bakhmut College of Culture and Arts visited the Sanatorium and Health Centre for Social Rehabilitation ‘Emerald City’. This institution was once located in a picturesque corner of the ‘Holy Mountains’ National Park in Donetsk Oblast, but now, due to the war, it has been relocated to Khmelnytskyi Oblast — to the cosy village of Orinyn.
This concert was not only an opportunity for the musicians to demonstrate their skills, but also to fulfil their main mission — to give children a piece of beauty, to inspire them with the enchanting sounds of musical instruments and voices, and to ‘infect’ them with a sincere love of music.
They enjoyed a vibrant musical cocktail of world compositions and works by Ukrainian composers performed by a symphony orchestra, an ensemble of guitarists and percussionists, a vocal ensemble, a pop choir, solo singers and solo instrumentalists.
