This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.
The head of the region presented the state of readiness during the fifth meeting of the Headquarters for the Preparation of the Housing and Utilities Sector and the Fuel and Energy Complex for the 2025–2026 autumn–winter period, chaired by Oleksii Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Ukraine’s Recovery and Minister for Communities and Territories Development. The focus was on frontline regions.
“I reported that we are ensuring people’s access to vital means of survival in areas where heating supply will not be available due to security concerns. In particular, we are providing individual heating means — stoves, wood-burning heaters, and firewood. Our international partners are also helping us with this, for which we are extremely grateful.
In addition, based on experience from previous years, 60 ‘Points of Invincibility’ are operating around the clock, offering heating, electricity, and internet access.
Despite the challenges of war, we are doing everything possible to ensure that the residents of Donetsk region face the winter in warmth and safety,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
