A conference and workshop on modern technologies in neurodiagnostics and neurorehabilitation were held at the Mariupol City Hospital No. 1, a municipal non-profit enterprise operating in Kyiv.
The conference was attended by doctors—traumatologists, rehabilitation specialists, neurologists, physical therapists, medical and clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists.
Ilona Kyslytska, an expert from the Department of Health and advisor to the head of the regional state administration and the regional military administration on mental health and psychosocial support for the population of Donetsk Oblast, also joined the conference.
The lecture and practical sessions covered the diagnosis of peripheral nerves and modern approaches to treating phantom pain and PTSD—from ultrasound-guided interventional techniques to VR therapy and neurofeedback.
Practical demonstrations of equipment and clinical case studies showed how the latest technologies are already changing the approach to treating chronic pain, PTSD, and stress-related disorders, as well as approaches to the physical and psychological rehabilitation of patients.
