As part of the cooperation between the Lyman City Community and the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi City Territorial Community in Cherkasy Oblast, and in implementation of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” an outreach reception was held for residents of the Lyman Community who are temporarily residing in safer regions of Ukraine.

The reception was conducted by the deputy mayor for social affairs. Representatives from the Department of Social Protection, the Administrative Services Center, the state registrar, and specialists from the “Right to Protection” Charitable Foundation also participated.

During the reception, residents were provided with consultations on social issues, government services, and registration procedures. Community residents had the opportunity to submit applications for financial assistance and compensation for destroyed or damaged property.

Representatives of the “Right to Protection” Foundation provided residents with legal advice, assisted with the preparation of necessary documents, explained the procedure for receiving state and humanitarian aid, and advised on the protection of the rights of internally displaced persons.

Such outreach events are an important part of supporting residents of the Lyman community who were forced to leave their homes due to the war, and they help ensure people’s access to necessary administrative and social services.
