Grass, leaves, branches, roadsides, yards, or ruined buildings—explosive objects may be left behind in any of these places. Due to active hostilities and numerous shelling incidents, the territory of Donetsk Oblast remains contaminated.
Sometimes a dangerous find immediately raises suspicion. Other times, it may look like an ordinary piece of debris, a part, or simply an unidentified object.
The photos show explosive objects discovered by bomb disposal experts from the Donetsk Regional State Emergency Service during surveys of the region.
The golden rule is: do not touch it. Do not touch, pick up, or move a suspicious object. Walk away along the same route and report the find by calling 101 or 102. Do not risk your life out of curiosity.
