On November 28, a regular meeting of the working group on providing assistance and social services to war veterans, military personnel, and families of deceased (dead or missing) military personnel was held.
The meeting was attended by representatives of structural units of the regional state administration, the regional employment center, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, the Donetsk Oblast Territorial Recruitment Center, and district state administrations, district military administrations, the Main Directorates of the National Police, the State Emergency Service in Donetsk Oblast, and military administrations, whose residents include the aforementioned categories of persons.
The agenda of the working group meeting included issues of providing assistance and ensuring state and additional social guarantees for war veterans, military personnel, families of deceased (dead or missing) military personnel, and meeting the needs of seriously wounded military personnel and military personnel released from captivity on October 2, 2025, and seriously wounded military personnel undergoing treatment in the Kyiv region.
As of today, 280 military personnel who are residents of Donetsk Oblast have been released from captivity in 2025.
Members of the executive committee of the Mariupol City Council, Kramatorsk, Kostyantynivka, Pokrovsk city, and Mangush settlement military administrations reported on the work done to identify and meet the needs of these individuals, in particular in terms of restoring educational documents, providing in-kind and material assistance, sanatorium and resort treatment at the expense of local budgets, etc.
The meeting resulted in the identification of key areas for further work. The working group will continue to coordinate the efforts of all parties involved to ensure comprehensive and effective support for our people.
