On October 15, as part of the regional platform “Dialogue Between Government and Business,” established at the direction of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, an online meeting was held with the participation of more than 80 government and business representatives from the Donetsk region.
Participants discussed two issues: changes to the rules for issuing veterinary documents and the specifics of undergoing physical identification in 2026.
Volodymyr Yevtushenko, deputy head of the Department of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Donetsk Oblast, spoke about the new rules for issuing veterinary documents. Specifically, starting in March 2026, a new procedure for issuing such documents and a Unified State Register of Veterinary Documents will be introduced. The transition period for using the old-style forms will last until March 31, 2027. The electronic format is intended to simplify the preparation of documents, make their verification more transparent, and facilitate the traceability of the origin of animals and products.
Olga Kirienko, deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Donetsk region, explained the specifics of in-person identification for pensioners and recipients of insurance benefits. She reminded those who need to complete the identification process by December 31, 2026, and described the available methods—via “Diya.Sign,” video conferencing, or by visiting a Pension Fund service center or an authorized bank in person.
The regional platform “Dialogue Between Government and Business” serves as a forum for discussing pressing issues facing entrepreneurs and finding solutions in collaboration with government agencies.
