On September 24, 2025, an online meeting of the board of the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of National and Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration was held.

During the meeting, the regional communities received important information regarding the preparation and holding of the international campaign “16 Days Against Violence” in the region. The main tasks and measures planned to be implemented were presented in order to draw public attention to the problem of violence and involve young people in participating in solidarity actions.

The participants also got acquainted with the results of the work of the municipal institution “Donetsk Regional Social Center for Mother and Child” for the first half of 2025. The communities heard about the assistance provided to women and children who found themselves in difficult life circumstances, as well as about the role of the institution as a center of support and restoration of life resources for mothers with children.

In addition, information was presented on the activities of the municipal institution "Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation", which implemented programs to support children and adolescents in crisis situations during the first half of 2025. Communities gained an idea of rehabilitation measures and their importance for ensuring a safe environment and psychological recovery of youth.

Significant attention during the meeting was paid to the issue of implementing the regional target social program "Youth of Donetsk Region" for 2021–2025. The city military administrations of Kramatorsk, Mariupol and Sloviansk presented examples of implemented initiatives that promote the active participation of youth in public life, the development of civic activism and the formation of Ukrainian identity even under martial law.

Thus, the board became a platform for exchanging experience and informing communities about important areas of work in the field of social support of the population, youth policy and national-patriotic education. It was emphasized that it is through the combined efforts of the authorities, communities, and municipal institutions that it is possible to ensure the effective implementation of social programs and create conditions for the development of youth in the region.
