11-year-old Kateryna Shamraieva was killed in the village of Drobysheve, Lyman district.
In May 2022, after stepping out of a shelter into her yard, the girl sustained a shrapnel wound incompatible with life.
Kateryna was born on August 16, 2010, in Drobysheve. She was a 6th-grade student at Drobysheve Secondary School I–III degrees of the Lyman City Council. She loved drawing and had many friends.
“From her very first year of study, Kateryna showed herself as a capable, hard-working student. She consistently achieved high results in all subjects, and actively participated in school and extracurricular activities. She was a cheerful, sociable girl,” the school staff recalled.
