Natalia Profatilova - participant of the regional competition "Woman of Donetsk Region" in 2025, nomination "Power of Good and Unity"
Natalia Profatilova, head of the NGO Svitanok of Yakovlivka Village, Bakhmut District, Donetsk Oblast, has been involved in public activities for over 12 years. During the full-scale invasion, she was forced to leave her native Donetsk region and move to the capital. In Kyiv, Natalia not only continued the work of the organization, but also gave it a new impetus for development.
"It is important for me to see the result when joy appears in the eyes of children, when the elderly feel that they are not alone. This is the greatest reward," says Natalia.
In recent years alone, the organization has raised about UAH 2 million in extra-budgetary grant funds and implemented a number of important projects. These include art initiatives for children in the Soledar community, humanitarian and psychological assistance to IDPs, and partial arrangement of hubs for IDPs to unite and communicate. Thanks to these projects, dozens of families received not only humanitarian support but also a sense of unity and support.
The woman's character is a combination of tenderness and inner strength. She believes in integrity, mutual assistance, and the power of a common cause. For Natalia, each project is a new story that leaves a mark on people's hearts.
The woman's dream is simple and majestic at the same time: victory and return to her native Donetsk region. And she is confident: "Only together can we rebuild both our hearts and our cities."
