Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Igor Boiko took part in a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and conduct of physical culture and health events and competitions "Side by Side All-Ukrainian Student Leagues" among male and female students of higher education institutions in the 2025/2026 academic year under the slogan "Together we will win."
During the meeting, participants discussed the registration of higher education institutions and student teams to participate in the competitions, as well as the organization of the regional stage of the tournament.
Based on the results of the discussion, a number of organizational tasks were identified. In particular, higher education institutions were recommended to decide on participation in the competitions, form teams for the relevant sports, and register on the official All-Ukrainian website of the "Side by Side All-Ukrainian Student Leagues" project.
Special attention was paid to ensuring the regional stage of the competition and preparing teams to participate in the interregional stage.
During his speech, Ihor Boiko noted that the competition will be held in four stages and will cover four sports: basketball, volleyball, futsal, and cheerleading.
He also announced that at the regional level, the head of the regional state administration and the head of the regional military administration had approved the composition of the organizing committee for the preparation and conduct of physical culture and health events and competitions "Side by Side All-Ukrainian Student Leagues."
