On July 29, a working meeting was held under the chairmanship of Oleksandr Shevchenko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, to discuss the implementation of Resolution No. 751 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 10, 2026, “On the Implementation of a Pilot Project to Provide Housing for Internally Displaced Persons in Rural Areas.”

Representatives of district state administrations, military administrations of settlements in the Donetsk region, as well as specialists responsible for implementing the pilot project on the ground participated in the event via videoconference.

Opening the meeting, Oleksandr Shevchenko emphasized that providing housing for internally displaced persons remains one of the key priorities of state policy, and the implementation of Resolution No. 751 opens up new opportunities for creating safe and dignified living conditions for people who were forced to leave their homes due to armed aggression.

“For the Donetsk region, the issue of providing housing for IDPs is of particular importance. Our task is to make the most effective use of the opportunities offered by the pilot project, ensure high-quality preparation of documents, proper coordination among all participants in the process, and timely implementation of the specified measures. How quickly people will be able to find new homes depends on the coordination of our efforts,” emphasized Oleksandr Shevchenko.

During the meeting, participants discussed the following key topics in detail:

- the status of preparations for implementing the pilot project in the region’s communities;

- the requirements of Resolution No. 751 and the procedure for interagency coordination;

- practical aspects of identifying potential housing units in rural areas;

- ways to resolve issues arising during the preparation of documents and the formulation of proposals for participation in the project.

Based on the meeting’s outcomes, a plan of action was agreed upon: to prioritize proper coordination of efforts at the local level, ensure the prompt exchange of information, and strictly adhere to established procedures and deadlines.

The implementation of Resolution No. 751 is an important step toward creating new opportunities to provide internally displaced persons with affordable housing and will help improve the effectiveness of state support for citizens affected by the war.
