Donetsk region employs a specialist to support veterans and demobilized persons

Natalia Radchenko, a specialist in support of war veterans and demobilized persons, has started working at the Druzhkovka City Center for Social Services in Kramatorsk district.

The specialist will provide comprehensive support to war veterans and demobilized persons, helping them to adapt to civilian life. The main tasks include

  • providing information and advice on social, medical, psychological and legal services;
  • assistance in preparing documents for receiving benefits, payments and other types of state aid;
  • assistance in employment and retraining;
  • organization of psychological support and rehabilitation;
  • coordination of interaction with government agencies, public organizations and volunteers;
  • support in solving everyday issues and integration into the community.

People can contact a specialist:

  • war veterans who participated in hostilities and defended the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine;
  • demobilized military personnel who have recently returned to civilian life;
  • family members of veterans and demobilized persons who need support and counseling.

A veteran can apply for the services of a support specialist in an electronic format or write a regular written application.

The support specialist can provide counseling support, support in paperwork, help organize medical services and rehabilitation, facilitate employment and professional adaptation, help with housing issues, etc. In the future, it is possible to organize leisure activities and joint sports events.

All services of a specialist in supporting veterans and demobilized persons are free of charge.
