In honor of World Vyshyvanka Day, the Donetsk Regional Children’s Library is announcing a regional “From Grandma’s Chest” photo contest for the public’s choice award.
From May 11 to 15, send photos depicting antique embroidery (towels, napkins, embroidered shirts, etc.) to [email protected]. The photos must be authentic (taken in museums, at friends’ or acquaintances’ homes, or from your own photo archives).
All submissions sent to the email address will be published on May 20 on the regional children’s library’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/oblbib.dn.ukr.net). Immediately after publication and until 6:00 PM on May 21, anyone interested can vote for their favorite photos by liking them.
Based on the number of likes, experts from the regional library will select three winners, who will receive digital certificates and the unconditional recognition of the audience.
In a final post, which will appear on the library’s Facebook page on May 22, the results and links to the winners’ digital certificates will be published.
