On the occasion of Ukrainian Volunteer Day, the Donetsk Youth Palace "Yunist" is holding an online competition called "Volunteer in the Heart of Ukraine," which will take place from March 4 to 14, 2026, in a remote format.
Students and teachers from general secondary, extracurricular, vocational, pre-higher, and higher education institutions are invited to participate in the contest. There is no limit to the number of participants from one educational institution.
The competition is held in two categories: video greeting "A Thousand 'Thank You's' in One Frame" and photo collage "Peaceful Ukraine – Your Feat." Participation is possible in five age categories – from 6 years old to the "Teachers" category.
To participate in the competition, by March 6, 2026 (inclusive), you must send an application for participation (for each participant separately) and a competition entry marked "Volunteer in the Heart of Ukraine" to the email address [email protected].
From March 7 to 13, 2026, online voting for the "Audience Choice Award" will take place on the official website of the Palace https://yunist.org.ua/, in which anyone can participate.

The competition aims to preserve historical memory, promote respect for the defenders of Ukraine, and foster active citizenship among the younger generation.
