Published 29 July 2026 year, 13:58

On July 28, the Department of Social Protection of the Regional State Administration, in collaboration with the state-owned enterprise “Information and Computing Center of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine” and the Donetsk Regional Center for the Calculation and Disbursement of Social Benefits, conducted an online training session on the implementation of the “Wounded Person’s Path” feature of the Unified Information System for the Social Sphere (UISS).

Over 220 specialists from social protection departments and social service providers across the region participated in the event. Currently, 92 designated specialists in the Donetsk region have been identified to work with the new feature: 34 specialists from the social protection departments of city councils and district state administrations, and 58 from territorial communities.

During the training, participants learned about the specifics of providing comprehensive electronic services to military personnel, individuals discharged from military service, and their family members; practiced using the “Path of the Wounded” feature; and reviewed how the system interacts with the “Diya” portal.

Special attention was given to the receipt and processing of electronic applications, the entry of required data, the selection of social services, and the organization of follow-up support for beneficiaries.

The introduction of the “Wounded Soldier’s Path” module will help simplify access to government support and social services for military personnel, veterans, and their family members, and will also improve the efficiency of providing these services electronically.
