A meeting of Coordination Centers for Civilian Support was held in Donetsk region

In February, meetings were held by the Coordination Centers for Civilian Support at the Volnovakha, Bakhmut, Pokrovsk district and 24 local military administrations.

Representatives of the Department of Social Protection, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other structural units of the regional state administration participated in the meetings.

During the meeting at the Volnovakha District State Administration, the results of the identification of pension recipients, requirements for the continuation of pension and insurance payments in 2026, as well as issues of disease prevention, vaccination, and information and awareness-raising work to prevent the suspension of payments were considered.

The Bakhmut District State Administration discussed the activities of the Bakhmut District Council Primary Health Care Center, cooperation with international humanitarian organizations, and ensuring the availability of social services for the affected population of the district.

At the meeting at the Pokrovsk District State Administration, the main focus was on the employment of veterans and demobilized persons, vocational training and retraining, as well as measures to strengthen Ukrainian national and civic identity.

Local communities discussed the implementation of veteran policy, social support for defenders of Ukraine and their families, psychological rehabilitation of military personnel, and the provision of legal assistance in obtaining status and benefits. The appointment and restoration of social payments, support for internally displaced persons, resolution of housing issues, provision of humanitarian aid, and the functioning of humanitarian centers and resilience centers were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to mental health preservation, the organization of medical services, the work of child welfare services, support for small businesses, the educational process, the work of resilience centers, and the evacuation of the population from dangerous areas.

Based on the results of the meetings, priorities for further work were identified and joint actions were agreed upon to strengthen interagency cooperation and ensure adequate social protection for the affected population.
