In Donetsk region, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Yuriy Klyuchka and with the participation of representatives of the relevant structural units of the Regional State Administration, the second working meeting this year took place with representatives of civil society institutions in the region and members of the Public Council at the Regional State Administration.
Yuriy Klyuchka emphasized that this dialogue is not a formality and expressed hope that these meetings are a necessary element of the joint work of the Regional State Administration and the public to achieve common goals and objectives.
During the event, participants considered a number of urgent issues regarding the work of specialists supporting war veterans, the operation of social and psychological rehabilitation centers, and the network of hospitals for war veterans, as well as the possibility of providing assistance to low-income individuals for the burial of servicemen and internally displaced persons in the region.
They also discussed mechanisms for the evacuation and accommodation of displaced persons, particularly those with limited mobility, disabilities, and mental health issues.
The issue of establishing and organizing interaction between the Regional State Administration and the public in 2025 was also raised. The head of the department for ensuring interaction with local self-government bodies, Natalia Chukova, presented the vision of the Regional State Administration regarding the possibility of holding regional competitions "Volunteer of Donetsk" and "Best Practices of Resilience of Territorial Communities of Donetsk in Conditions of Martial Law," organizing forums "Civil Society of Donetsk" and "Donetsk: Best Practices of Communities in Wartime," as well as holding a regional fair of public organizations.
We thank all members of the Public Council and representatives of civil society institutions for their active participation, constructive proposals, and meaningful discussion during the meeting.
