Vadym Filashkin, Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration, congratulated educators in Donetsk Oblast on their professional holiday and recognized the best teachers.
The head of Donetsk region presented Vasyl Sukhomlynsky and Excellence in Education badges, certificates of honor and letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Donetsk Regional State Administration, as well as commemorative koins to employees of schools, kindergartens, out-of-school care, vocational schools and higher education institutions.
Our teachers contribute to the development of Ukraine every day: they educate children, show courage and dedication to the profession. Among them are those who are defending the country with arms and those who did not return from the war or were killed by shelling. Their memory was honored with a minute of silence.
The strength of Donetsk region is in its people. Despite all the difficulties, educators continue to work for children, relocated institutions are successfully operating in the host regions, offline schools are opening, and our traditions are being preserved and developed. They maintain the quality of education, win victories, and form the generation that will restore Donetsk and Ukraine after the Victory.
