On June 10, 2025, an online briefing entitled “Exploring Libraries: Tools for Coordinators” was held, organized by the Donetsk Oblast Library for Children with the support of the Regional State Administration.
The meeting on the Google Meet platform brought together library specialists from various communities in the region — those who will become local coordinators of the large-scale regional study “Library of the Future: A Community Perspective.”
The briefing focused on familiarizing participants with the methodology, tools, and stages of the study. Participants received practical recommendations, discussed organizational aspects, and asked questions about further actions in their communities.
The goal of the study is to hear the voice of the community and together form a vision of a library that will meet the challenges of the times and the needs of the people. The coordinators, like true researchers in the field, will soon begin collecting data in their communities. Ahead lies interesting analytical work, new insights, and library discoveries.
