A meeting of the Children's Environmental Parliament of the Donetsk Regional Ecology and Nature Center was held, bringing together active, caring and conscious young environmentalists from Donetsk Oblast. About 70 students from the region joined the event.
The theme of the meeting was "The Ecomonathon is Starting! Environmental awareness as a new normal: the role of youth in changing environmental behavior" is extremely relevant today, when every action matters for the future of our planet.
The parliamentarians defined the concept of "eco-consciousness" and its key components; shared practical experience in implementing eco-habits in schools and communities; discussed the importance of waste sorting as an important part of an eco-friendly lifestyle; summarized the results of participation in the World Cleanup Day; and approved the parliament's work plan for the 2025-2026 academic year.
