The Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education announces the start of the 11th Regional Festival “Seek Beauty, Seek Goodness!”, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Valerian Pidmohylny’s birth.
Educators and students in the Donetsk region are invited to participate in a creative reinterpretation of the legacy of one of the most brilliant intellectuals of Ukraine’s “Executed Renaissance.”
Categories for the festival, which will run through October 27:
🔹 Literary and Musical Mix “Life Doesn’t Stop or Repeat Itself!”—an interdisciplinary virtual relay.
🔹 Heartfelt conversations about the eternal: “It is a great joy to find something great where everyone else saw only trifles!”—original, in-depth discussions with students.
🔹 Literary debuts by educators from Donetsk Oblast: “Everything sincere is always contemporary”—poetic and lyrical-epic works about the artist, along with video recitations.
🔹 The writer’s online page “@Writer_Online: an account that doesn’t exist”—creative virtual profiles of V. Pidmohylny on social media.
Submissions and contest entries will be accepted until October 5, 2026. The festival’s results will be announced on October 27, 2026.
