To mark International Family Day, the Donetsk region is bringing residents together to preserve family memories and cultural heritage. The regional remote photo exhibition of family heirlooms, “The Chest,” is launching—a project that reveals stories embedded in items dear to the heart.
The initiative is being implemented by the Donetsk Regional Educational and Methodological Center for Culture with the support of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
To participate, please submit a high-quality photo of the heirloom along with a text description (200–300 words, .docx format) and information about your family (full name, community, etc.) by May 10, 2026, to the email address: [email protected].
The presentation of the entries will take place on May 15 on Facebook on the official page of the educational and methodological center under the hashtag #СкриняДонеччини.
