As part of the implementation of the National Youth Strategy through 2030, “YOUTH. PARTICIPATION. ACTION. DONETSK REGION–2030,” the Regional Council’s Committee on Patriotic Education for Student Self-Government Leaders announces the launch of the project “Rebuilding Donetsk Region: A Vision for the Future.”
The initiative aims to engage students in the strategic planning process for rebuilding their native region and fostering active citizenship. Student self-government teams are invited to create digital case studies of their communities, combining an analysis of the historical past, current challenges, and proposals for development over the next 10–15 years.
The project will run until June 1, 2026. Participants may choose a convenient format for their work: a presentation, a video profile, or another creative digital case study. Submissions must include 3–5 images illustrating key ideas and a brief description of the vision for recovery.
Entries must be posted on the “Extracurricular Activities of Donetsk Region” Facebook page with the mandatory use of the hashtag #VisionForDonetskRegion2030. Full versions of the case studies (Google Drive links) should be sent to [email protected].
The proposals developed by young people can serve as the foundation for real management decisions in communities and help strengthen local capacity in Donetsk Oblast.
