The regional campaign “Give a Child the Gift of Reading,” initiated by the Donetsk Regional State Administration, continues and unites communities across Donetsk Oblast around a common goal: supporting children and promoting reading as a vital factor in intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development.
The Mariupol and Khlibodariv communities are actively participating in the initiative, setting an example of unity, mutual aid, and care for the younger generation.
In particular, the “YaMariupol” Center in Lviv organized a collection of children’s books as part of the campaign. Thanks to the generosity of Mariupol residents, the collected books were donated to the Kislienko family’s family-type children’s home, bringing the children the joy of new knowledge and vivid stories.
The Khlibodarivska rural territorial community also joined the campaign. As part of the initiative, children in the community are already receiving books that contribute to their development, broaden their worldview, and foster a lasting interest in reading.
The “Give a Child the Gift of Reading” campaign continues, and anyone who wishes to can join this good cause by giving children not only a book but also new opportunities for development, inspiration, and learning about the world.
