On April 23, representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy attended a meeting with the families of servicemen who are missing in action.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Main Investigative Directorate, the Specialized Center for the Search for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, under the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk Oblast, the Donetsk Oblast Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, the State Scientific Research Expert-Criminalistics Center, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the Representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Department for Veterans’ Policy, spoke about the social guarantees provided at the national and regional levels, as well as additional social guarantees funded by regional and local budgets.
During the meeting, families were provided with necessary consultations and explanations on current issues falling within the purview of the relevant services. They also discussed the key difficulties faced by relatives during the search for missing persons.
