This beautiful hawk was rescued by the military in Donetsk region. The bird had broken a wing that had fused incorrectly. So, unfortunately, it could no longer live in the wild.
The hawk was brought to a veterinary hospital in Dnipro, where it underwent an examination and an X-ray. After that, the bird was transferred to a new home - the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Poltava region. It will be taken care of here for the rest of its life.
It is hard for everyone at the frontline - both people and animals. That is why it is all the more valuable to help defenseless lives. UAnimals is grateful to the military for saving the hawk.
