Vadym Filashkin chaired a meeting on the readiness of the region's housing and utility infrastructure for the 2026–2027 autumn and winter season.
As of June 30, the average level of preparedness stands at 44%, with 762 out of 1,748 planned facilities already prepared. This includes 669 residential buildings, 39 social infrastructure facilities, 27 boiler houses, and 27 water supply and wastewater facilities.
The meeting also addressed challenges in the Kramatorsk, Novodonetske, Oleksandrivka, and Sloviansk communities, as well as the needs of the regional utility company Donetskteplokomunenergo and the Water of Donbas utility company.
"There is still a great deal of work ahead. We must accelerate preparations wherever delays exist and ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructure under wartime conditions.
Winter will not wait. That is why every task has a clear deadline, designated responsible officials, and a practical outcome for the people," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
