On June 30, a meeting was held with war veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine from the Dobropil City Community.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department for Veterans’ Policy, the Commissioner for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances, the Regional Employment Center, and the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:
- the status of veteran policy implementation in the Dobropil City Territorial Community; local programs aimed at supporting veterans and family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine;
- the legal status of persons missing under special circumstances during military service;
- pension benefits and privileges for war veterans;
- employment services: programs and opportunities for everyone.
Inna Starostina, Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Division for Monitoring the Implementation of Veterans’ Programs within the Department of Veterans’ Policy, spoke about the social guarantees provided at the national and regional levels, paying particular attention to housing programs.
