Community representatives discussed access to public information in Donetsk region

More than 220 specialists from Donetsk region joined a seminar on the practical application of the Law of Ukraine "On Access to Public Information".

The practical application of the Law of Ukraine "On Access to Public Information" was discussed on August 7 at a seminar with representatives of district and local military administrations.

The following issues were also discussed during the event:

  • liability for corruption or corruption-related offenses;
  • training without restrictions: how the employment service supports the career development of veterans;
  • monitoring of cultural heritage monuments under martial law;
  • development of urban planning documentation and programs of comprehensive restoration in the current conditions;
  • establishing interagency cooperation to prevent and respond to gender-based violence under martial law and temporary occupation;
  • registration of internally displaced persons;
  • formation of a network of general secondary education institutions for the 2025-2026 academic year, taking into account distance learning;
  • labor relations under martial law: downtime, suspension of employment contracts when working with educators.

The seminar was organized and conducted by the Department for Interaction with Local Self-Government Bodies in cooperation with the relevant structural units of the Regional State Administration and the Donetsk Regional Employment Center.

During the seminar, participants gained new skills, knowledge and took an active part in discussing reports and presentations and expressed their wishes regarding the topics of further meetings.
